Italienischer Unghia Bodenspiegel, 1970er

„Unghia“ mirror (also known as the Oasi or Lipstick model), one of the most iconic and brilliant pieces in the 1970s. The mirror presents itself as a true pop-minimalist sculpture. Its iconic shape comes from an intuition as simple as it is brilliant: a vertical cylinder made of plastic material cut transversely at the top with a diagonal inclination. The result is unmistakably reminiscent of the silhouette of a freshly opened lipstick or the stylized shape of a nail, details that give rise to its famous nicknames. The sloping mirror surface is not only an aesthetic choice, but also allows you to reflect the entire figure while maintaining a very small footprint on the ground.
