Clockwork starts and has not been tested for function, no guarantee that the clock will run. But it can be overhauled by my watchmaker.

Antique very large 263 cm high baroque oak grandfather clock from the 18th century with special striking mechanism

The grandfather clock has a tall, rectangular casing made of solid wood, which has a warm, natural look. The wood appears to be in good condition and has a slightly reddish to brown color that is typical of antique clocks.
The upper part of the case, which houses the dial, is curved.
The dial is elaborately decorated with floral metal decorations.
The clockwork has a thread suspension and is made of brass and iron.
The percussion mechanism has failed. The clock has two bells but only one hammer. The hammer hits the 1/4 1/2 3/4 1/1 on the small bell. When the hour strikes the hammer goes to the right and strikes the number of hours on the large bell.

Beschreibung/description:

Antiker sehr große 263 cm hohe Barock Standuhr Eiche 18 Jh. mit besonderen Schlagwerk

Die Standuhr hat ein hohes, rechteckiges Gehäuse aus massivem Holz, das eine warme, naturbelassene Optik aufweist. Das Holz scheint in einem guten Zustand zu sein und hat eine leicht rötliche bis braune Färbung, die typisch für antike Uhren ist.
Der obere Teil des Gehäuses, der das Zifferblatt beherbergt, ist gewölbt.
Das Zifferblatt ist aufwendig mit floralen Metallverzierungen verziert.
Das Uhrwerk hat eine Fadenaufhängung und ist aus Messing und Eisen gefertigt.
Das Schlagwerk ist ausgefallen. Die Uhr besitzt zwei Glocken aber nur einen Schlaghammer. Der Hammer schlägt den 1/4 1/2 3/4 1/1 auf die kleine Glocke. Wenn die volle Stunde schlägt geht der Hammer nach rechts und schlägt die anzahl der Stunden auf die große Glocke.
