Bauhaus Kiefernholz Schreibtisch & Stuhl, 1960er, 2er Set

Small desk and chair in solid pine, in the Bauhaus style.

Some attribute this small set to Baumann.

It consists of a desk with a top that can be adjusted to different heights. The top is double-sided: one side is a wooden work surface, and the other has a chalkboard surface. It can be positioned horizontally for use as a desk, or vertically as a chalkboard, or to save space.
The system is adjusted by rotating the top.

The small chair is very elegant, with its reconstruction-inspired design, somewhat reminiscent of Gascoin’s multi-position stool.
We love the graphic details of the set; the interlocking elements lend a beautiful elegance to the whole.

The entire set is made of solid pine, with its lovely grain and golden hue, finished with a glossy varnish.

The patina is original, with its small imperfections and unique features that attest to its authenticity.
