Aureole Hängelampe aus Messing

Aureole is a universal lamp which combines a ceiling floodlight and a reading lamp to an entirely new typology. The shape of the shade has been designed specifically for the directional light created by LEDs. By moving the shade vertically along the wire, the light atmosphere can be varied dramatically, reflecting entirely to the ceiling or to the floor.

The unique beauty in this system appears however in the interstages while moving the shade. The transition of the light beam from the top to the bottom happens smoothly and fills a space with a magic glow, moving in a way that resembles natural phenomena generated by clouds which cover a full moon or the setting sun.

Assembly of the lamp is easy – it is fixed to the ceiling with one single screw and kept in tension by a weight at the bottom end of the wire.

Measures
LxWxH of the shade: 23 x 23 x 25cm
The shade floats around 140cm above the floor (this value is fixed).
The whole lamp is adjustable to a ceiling height of up to 3,90m.

Specs
12W LED, 1560lm, 2700K – 220V (EU) or 120V (US), non dimmable
